Francis Rakocsi II´s memorial site (Rodosto) in Executioner´s Bastion

The permanent exhibition stands in the complex of the Executioner´s Bastion in Hrnciarska Street. The exhibition documents anti-Habsburg´s rebellions, particularly that led by Ferenc (Francis) Rakoczi II, as well as Rakoczi's life and family.

Statue of Francis Rakocsi II

Bronze statue of Francis Rakoczi II, Prince of Transylvania and the "Commanding Prince" of Hungary, was erected in 2006. It is 230 cm tall, weighing 500 kg. The statue was donated to the city by the Hungarian government.
